I am Lars Brull, the great-grandchild of Sikke and Ymkje, the grandchild of Ank and Peter, and the child of Ellis and Roger. I am 26 years old. I have a degree in history and International Relations in Historical Perspective. My academic background has fueled my interest in my great-grandfather and the era in which he lived. Futhermore, I am responsible for transcribing and digitizing Sikke Hiemstra’s war diary, and I manage this website and the social media channels.
